The chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd has approved the extension of the tenure of the Mr. John Didi led caretaker committee of Omudioga Community Development Committee, otherwise known as Ogbakor Omudioga in Emohua LGA, for another three months.
The tenure extension is in recognition and appreciation of the capacity exhibited by Mr. John Didia and members of the caretaker committee in the way and manner they have piloted the affairs of Omudioga community.
Members of the committee are:
1. Mr. John Didia — Chairman
2. Mr. Emmanuel Chinyere Ihuanne — Secretary
3. Mr. Prophet Gabriel Worlu — Member
4. Mr. Samuel Amadi — Member
5. Mr. Humphrey Ndalu — Member
6. Mr. Eric Anokuru — Member
7. Mr. Vincent Chima — Member
The council chairman enjoins the Omudioga council of chiefs and the entire community to continue to work together to consolidate on the gains of the Mr. Didia led Ogbakor Omudioga.
Security agencies and relevant stakeholders within and outside Emohua LGA are therefore enjoined to continue to recognize and cooperate with the Ogbakor Omudioga under the leadership of Mr. John Didia.
Dr. Lloyd also reiterates that the statewide ban on elections into Community Development Committees (CDC) and Community Based Youth Bodies is still in force across Emohua LGA, stressing that anyone who dares to violate the ban or foment trouble in any community in the LGA shall be made to race the full weight of the law, no matter how highly placed.
